What Advice Would I Give To My Younger Self?

I have been teaching for 20 years and to be honest it has gone by fast.  I look around and I quickly realize that there is only about 2 other teachers in my entire school that I know from when I first started.  

There are so many new faces and so many of them are struggling like I did when I first started.  My heart aches from them because even though it was a long time ago, I remember how frustrated and lost I was in those early years

That is why I started my Teacher Coaching Program and why I do everything in my power to help teachers become the best version of themselves.  

That made me start thinking about what advise teachers need to hear and what advice I wish I heard 20 years ago.
