Should you quit or should you stay?

Almost any educator you talk to today will how tell you how hard it is to be a teacher these days.  

The behavior of students seems to be at an all time worse and little or nothing is being done about it.  It is so bad that often great behavior is the exception to the rule and not the norm. 

Lack of support from administration.  We need somebody to steer the boat and it seems like we are losing administration quicker and at a faster pace then we are losing teachers.  If there is no stability and structure from the top how can we be expected to do our jobs.  

Lack of resources.  When we are given the opportunity to make the difference in our students lives we often find ourselves not having the tools, supplies, programs, or people to make it happen. 

And now I am hearing about layoffs for many different people in the education field.  

What is going on.  

So if you are one of the teachers thinking about quitting you are not alone.
