How to Quiet a Noisy Classroom

One of the worst things as a teacher is standing in front of a classroom, trying to teach a lesson, and nobody is paying attention. 

Sally is in the back doing her make-up. 

Johnny is trying to take a peak at his phone. 

Cindy and Jennifer are talking about the cute new guy. 

Rick, Jason, and Jose are talking about Fortnite. 

Ughhhhhhh

Maybe you got this teaching thing down 100% and can't relate but most of us have been there before. 

You can spend all day and night planning the best lesson but if none of the kids quiet down enough to listen to the directions and actually work, what was the point of it all.
