How To Improve A School

I honestly believe that change, real change can happen if the right systems are put into place.  It will not be easy and consistency is the key but if everybody works together progress will happen.  

Think about your school.  What are some issues happening right now?

Are students constantly tardy between classes?

Is there to much horseplay happening?

Are there problems with student behavior in the classroom?

How are the students treating Guest Teachers?

How are students Math and Reading Levels?

Are students failing their classes?

Is your school's graduation rate low?

These are all real concerns that schools face today and my school is no different.  As a school we decided to focus on the first two issues of tardies and horseplay.   

We put a detention program into play and carried out the plan.  The result were amazing.
