Have You Tried Using a Timer in Your Classroom?

When you first walk into my classroom one of the first things you will notice is that I have a timer running at the front of the room. 

It is nothing fancy.  Just a digital timer I bought off of Amazon for about 50 dollars.  To be honest if I had to do it again I would of spent a little more for one that got a little better reviews, but overall it gets the job done. 

I did not always use a timer in my classroom but over the years I have honed in on my classroom management procedures and it has become an integral part of my classroom.  

I must have a obsession with time because I am always looking at the timers and clocks in my room.  

There is the digital timer at the front of the room. 

There is an analog clock at the back of the room. 

The time is also located on my smart board.

And finally I have my Fitbit watch which I use all through out my day.
