Are You Ready for Second Semester

One of the things I like about teaching is our breaks.  

It is always nice to get a breather, to get recharged, and to reflect on the previous months. 

For me personally, now that Christmas is over and we just got done celebrating New Years I can work on getting recharged.  It has been a busy but blessed holiday so far.  

One the last day of school before we left for Winter Break my class and I reflected on 1st Semester.  When we took the time to break down the months it became evident we learned a lot and did a lot.  It was a very rewarding exercise.  

Looking forward to 2nd Semester I get excited thinking about what is planned for my class.  

My question for you is how did first semester go and are you ready for second semester?

If first semester was a struggle and you are looking for a fresh start then you can find that in the upcoming months.  The first days after returning from Winter Break are the best time to reboot the remaining months of the school year.
