Are You Ready For Next School Year?

My summer break is almost at and end and I start school in about another 2 weeks.  Only 2 more weeks.  Hopefully you have a little longer. 

At my school we are trying to put some support systems in to help our new teachers as well as any teachers that may struggle with the beginning of the year. 

That got me thinking.  What are some must knows and must dos for any teacher at the beginning of the year. 

What do teachers need to know about the school, norms, policies, and procedures in order to make sure they start the school year off right. 

What do teachers need to do in their classrooms in order to make sure they can start the school year off on the right foot. 

There are so many things a teacher must do in any school year but what a teacher does at the beginning of the school year will set the stage and the tone for the remaining year.
